Scone Operator Monitoring

The Scone Operator monitoring is based on Prometheus. The monitoring configuration is automatically generated, based on the deployed cluster's details.

In case the Scone Operator is deployed to an OSC Gardener shoot cluster with a deployed Kyma monitoring stack, there are no further actions necessary. The Kyma provided Prometheus will be set up automatically to scrape the cluster's metrics. In addition, several Grafana Dashboard configurations are provided that will display the scraped metrics.

In other cases the monitoring configuration is also automatically generated, but it is not active. It can be obtained from the following ConfigMaps:

This configuration can be used to set up the scone-operator monitoring in accordance to the used monitoring system.
